This antigue, sterling silver patri or amulet represents the sripada or divine feet. Lord Vishnu, the manifest form of cosmos, is believed to have in his foot the entire cosmos. The amulet is in the shape of a yoni - the origin of life, or leaf of the sacred fig tree - with a decorative terminal point at the bottom. A sacred, powerful charm, it is believed to offer the wearer protection against all calamities. 

The pendant is accompanied by lapis lazuli and pyrite beads.
