Guatemala Adventure

March 29 - April 4, 2014

“To journey without being changed is to be a nomad.  To change without journeying is to be a chameleon.  To journey and be transformed by the journey is to be a pilgrim.”

Seventeen of us traveled this past April to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala where we stayed at the beautiful Villa Sumaya, meditated, practiced yoga, learned about the ancient Maya and contemporary indigenous people of Guatemala, were blessed by a Shaman, kayaked on the lake, built stoves in a local village, hiked, volunteered in a nearby school, experienced one of Guatemala's most fascinating markets, ate very well, danced, laughed, and made wonderful new friends.

Our journey was transformative!
